IGNOU provides short term Awareness and Appreciation courses. These are as follows -

1. IGNOU - Appreciation course on Environment (ACE) -
• Eligibility is Graduation from a recognized university or equivalent qualification
• Minimum age is No bar
• Duration is Minimum 3 months
• Medium of Instruction is English / Hindi
2. IGNOU - Awareness course Intellectual Property Right (AIPR) -
• Eligibility is Graduation or equivalent from any recognized University / Institution
• Minimum age is No bar
• Duration is Minimum 3 months
• Medium of Instruction is English
3. IGNOU - Awareness course on Intellectual Property Right (AIPR)
   • Eligibility is Graduation or equivalent from any recognized University / Institution
   • Minimum age is No bar
   • Duration is Minimum 3 months
   • Medium of Instruction is English
4. IGNOU - Computer Literacy Programme (CLP) -
• Eligibility is 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized Board (This programme is offered only for the North-Eastern States and Sikkim)
• Minimum age is No bar
• Duration is Minimum 1 months
• Medium of Instruction is English
5. Other IGNOU Programmes - Preparatory Programme for Computing (PPC) Certificate and Computing (CIC)
